We meet every Monday evening during term times from 5 to 6.15. We work throughout the year to gain our activity badges, our challenge badges and ultimately out Chief Scouts Bronze Award but most of all we aim to have lots of fun.
What We Do
During the year we do a variety of activities both inside the Scout hut and out and about around Uckfield. We try to include lots of craft and healthy eating during the winter months whilst we go out on visits and rambles during the summer. Most evenings start and end with a game.
Leaders and Helpers
We have two warranted leaders who run the Colony, John Ball and Julie Isted who have both been working with the colony for over 10 years. We also have a helper, Marie Golding who has organised the craft activities over the same period. Younger helpers too come with us to complete their Duke of Edinburgh Award and we have a rota of parent helpers.
